We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children from 6 months old up to Reception age.

About the Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Encouraging all areas of the children's development within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Compiling and maintaining development records on children and reporting to the Team Leader
  • Providing a stimulating, friendly, and caring environment at all times
  • Demonstrating good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion
  • Being a key carer and building relationships with a small group of children and their families

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification
  • An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • A knowledge of safeguarding children and child protection
