About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We're seeking a Site Engineer with Highways experience in the Brackley area to oversee and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and drawings. The successful candidate will liaise with subcontractors, Works Managers, Foremen, Section Engineers, and Sub Agents, checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings. They will also manage, monitor, and interpret contract design documents, ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, or timescales. Additionally, they will provide technical advice and solve problems on-site, perform basic setting out and as-built survey, place requisitions/material orders, request permits, and perform quality controls of subcontracted work and self-delivered activities.

About You
  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE)
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
  • Experience in construction industry, particularly in highway works is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software like AutoCAD and tools such as GPS and total stations.
  • Familiarity with UK building and construction regulations.
  • Holder of CSCS card
  • Full driving licence required
