Job Title: Strategic Product Access Manager

CIFF's SRHR Product Choices team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Product Access Manager to lead the development and implementation of market access strategies for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) commodities across low- and middle-income countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement market access strategies to improve access to SRH commodities, including volume guarantees, subsidies, licensing agreements, working capital loans, and performance-based financing.
  • Lead the analysis of market dynamics and assess financial instruments for suitability to address SRH access barriers.
  • Support manufacturers in developing go-to-market plans for low- and middle-income countries.
  • Develop health economic models to evaluate the impact and cost-effectiveness of product strategies, incorporating inputs from delivery and supply chain teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine analytical tools and decision-making frameworks, enhancing CIFF's product access strategies.
  • Support and/or lead the formulation of new investment proposals, encompassing market analysis, thesis development, and investment memo writing.
  • Execute financial sensitivity and risk analyses, and coordinate with legal, finance, and program teams to manage due diligence and contracting for new investments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in strategy consulting or financial services with a focus in life sciences sector.
  • Experience conducting market research, including evidence syntheses, trend identification, market segmentation, and competitive landscape.
  • Outstanding quantitative skills, including financial and statistical modelling, COGs analysis, forecasting, and data visualization.
  • Outstanding communication skills using a variety of presentation techniques, including excel analyses, slide decks, and memos.
  • Progressively responsible leadership roles in demanding and diverse organisations.
  • Effectively champions and promotes causes, credible and professional, they always present the Foundation's programmes in a compelling way to engage the audience.
  • Skilled in relationship building and strengthening, able to influence others and work collaboratively, uniting groups with a shared purpose.
  • English is CIFF's business language, we expect all of our people to display outstanding verbal and written communication skills across all aspects of their role.
  • IT proficiency, most specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, engages with others to get the best out of them and works well as part of a team.
  • Effective organisational and project management skills, able to be flexible as priorities and needs change, and works well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well independently, a motivated self-starter, with good initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work in a range of cultural and socio-economic contexts, adapting style and approach appropriately and in a culturally sensitive manner to maximise effectiveness.
  • Aware of the challenges that stigmatised groups and young people might face when trying to access sexual and reproductive health services.
  • High degree of comfort with progressive sexual rights, notably that contraception and safe abortion care should be available to all who need it.
  • Strongly supportive of diversity in the workplace.
