Job Description

My client, Zachary Daniels, is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team in a fast-paced and pressurized manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on site, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage risk assessment and COSHH programmes to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide proactive safety and environmental guidance and support, as well as respond to incidents as required.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Chair the local safety committee to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of the company's HSE system, including setting and achieving local HSE objectives and working towards corporate level objectives and targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an HSE Manager in a fast-paced and pressurized manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and support a team.
  • Ability to analyze and mitigate risks, and develop and implement effective safety and environmental controls.
  • Proven track record of improving HSE performance and reducing incidents.
