About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join our team at GirlingJones. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in delivering a wide range of development projects across the Southwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Transport Planning and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Conduct thorough flood risk assessments to inform project decisions
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and provide expert advice to clients
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members to ensure their growth and development
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ensure all projects meet the highest quality standards
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in flood risk and drainage, with a strong understanding of flood risk assessment processes
  • Passion for delivering high-quality results and a desire to grow your career in a senior leadership and management role
