Job Title: Civil and Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil and Drainage Engineer to join our Exeter office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drainage projects and developing innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical design input on drainage projects, working closely with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Assist and oversee the work of junior Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying your knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Operate in accordance with corporate health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of highway drainage and other non-highway drainage design, ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
  • A good understanding of highway drainage design to DMRB Volume 4 Section 2 and MCHW Series 500.
  • Micro Drainage or InfoWorks ICM hydraulic modelling experience is desirable.
  • A relevant degree and progression towards qualification with an applicable Professional Institution.
