About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our highways team at Vector Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the roadside drainage network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Vacuum Tanker (Gully Tanker) with utmost safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep of the drainage network, utilizing provided equipment.
  • Work in pairs, distributing the workload effectively to ensure seamless operations.
Working Hours and Pay

We offer a range of working hours to suit your needs, including:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Day Shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
  • 10 hours per shift, totalling a 50-hour workweek.

Our competitive pay rates include:

  • Day Shift: £13.39 per hour
  • Night Shift: £16.74 per hour

Enhanced rates and bonuses are available for hours worked outside of standard hours and for meeting specific performance targets.

Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Willingness to actively participate in the physical demands of the job
  • Previous experience in a road or drainage environment is beneficial, though not mandatory
