Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the home operates within the Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations (2015), with a focus on achieving 'good' or 'outstanding' ratings from Ofsted.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take leadership and management responsibility for the development and shaping of the home.
  • Develop and implement dynamic and creative plans for children and young people living in the home.
  • Manage the home to safeguard and promote the well-being of children and young people.
  • Identify and address the needs of children and young people, including those with complex needs and behaviors.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and legislative requirements.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services with Children and Young People's Residential Management Pathway.
  • Equivalent qualifications as set out in ANNEX A.
  • Qualifications for staff working in children's homes, Guide to the Children's Homes Regulations including the Quality Standards, April 201.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • NVQ Level 4 Leadership and Management for Care Services.
