About the Role

This 12-month internship placement offers a unique opportunity to support the design and manufacture of our superconducting magnets and control systems. As a Software & Data Analytics Scientist Intern, you will work with our team to develop and maximise opportunities using data analysis and exploration, data visualisation, statistical analysis, databases, data models, and programming languages and software tools.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will work as part of a team to integrate Digital Development Tools into the product development processes.
  • You will independently work on projects to support the design and manufacture of our superconducting magnets and control systems.

All interns also participate in our structured Intern Development Programme, teaching softer skills such as communication, teamwork, and commercial awareness alongside the role.

About You

We are looking for students currently studying a degree in Software Engineering, Business Analytics or related subject, and looking for a 12-month placement as part of their degree programme. You must have an interest in Software Development (e.g., C#, Python and Software Tools e.g., Excel), Databases, Data Analysis/Visualisation, and opportunities to maximise Machine Learning and AI tools for Business advantage.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits including professional development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a supportive team environment.
