Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Antonine House, a luxury private care home in Bearsden. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Our mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development opportunities will enable you to develop your skills and progress in your career. Whether you aspire to become a Senior Care Assistant or a Senior Care Practitioner, we will support you every step of the way.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). We will support you through this process, ensuring you have the necessary qualifications and experience to excel in your role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high quality of care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Assisting in creating a wellbeing environment and participating in general activities of the home.
  • Adhering to Meallmore Standards, Policies and Procedures, National Care Standards.
  • Working in line with the SSSC codes of Practice.
  • Collaborating with care staff in your department and wider teams.
  • Carrying out personal care duties.

We offer a competitive salary, subsidised meals, and a range of benefits, including a pension scheme and company sick pay scheme. If you don't have your SVQ Level 2 and 3, we will fully fund your qualification after 6 months.

Salary: £12.00 - £12.10 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 39.37 hours (Days)
