Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing Main Contractor with a strong presence in the UK construction industry. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects while maintaining a professional and approachable work environment.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and determined Quantity Surveyor Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will work closely with our Project Managers to ensure the financial delivery of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Issuing sub-contract tender packages and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Attending post-tender and pre-contract meetings, reviewing contract documents, and managing relationships with our supply chain sub-contractors.
- Assessing contract risk, attending internal and external commercial review meetings, and submitting client valuations and managing the variation account.
- Managing subcontract accounts from procurement to final account and preparing and assisting with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with a construction-related qualification (Degree/HNC/etc.) and experience delivering new build commercial, industrial, retail, and residential projects. You will be provided with ongoing training, opportunities within the business, and a defined progression path.
Benefits
This role offers a basic salary of up to £60,000, company car or car allowance, private healthcare, and a pension contribution. You will also have the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing Main Contractor that offers clear and concise routes of progression.
