The Role

As an Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with a Project Manager to ensure the financial success of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Issuing sub-contract tender packages and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
  2. Attending post-tender and pre-contract meetings, reviewing contract documents, and managing relationships with supply chain sub-contractors.
  3. Assessing contract risk, attending internal and external commercial review meetings, and submitting client valuations and managing variation accounts.
  4. Managing subcontract accounts from procurement to final account and preparing assistance with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with a construction-related qualification (Degree/HNC/etc.) and experience in delivering new build commercial, industrial, retail, and residential projects. The right candidate will be provided with ongoing training, opportunities within the business, and a defined progression path.

Benefits

This role offers a basic salary of up to £60,000, company car or car allowance, private healthcare, and a pension contribution. You will also have the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing Main Contractor that offers clear and concise routes of progression.
