Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field, demonstrating academic excellence.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), confirming your teaching authority.
  • Proven experience teaching music in primary or secondary schools, showcasing your expertise.
  • A deep understanding of the national curriculum for music, enabling you to deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Proficiency in playing musical instruments and leading choirs/ensembles, adding value to the music department.
  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing effective engagement with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm, essential for delivering inspiring music lessons that captivate students.
  • The ability to differentiate instruction, meeting the diverse needs of students and promoting inclusive learning.
  • Strong organizational skills, ensuring efficient time management and task prioritization.
