We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead our £6 million M&E value warehouse fit-out project in East London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full design and build (D&B) from stage 3 onwards, working closely with specialist CDP contractors.
  • Manage the full project management of all mechanical services, collaborating seamlessly with the Electrical Project Manager.
  • Ensure all installation works comply with relevant standards and legislation.
  • Plan and allocate specific projects and tasks, monitor workloads, and prepare operational project programmes.
  • Monitor project commercial performance, prepare detailed work in progress reports, and manage final account preparations.
  • Maintain up-to-date project files and administrative systems in line with company requirements.
  • Communicate performance expectations and ensure productivity and accountability.
  • Uphold company standards for health and safety, initiate and support enquiries into incidents, and monitor site inspections.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical project management, particularly in warehouse fitouts or similar large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of M&E services including ventilation, public health, mechanical sprinkler systems, VRF heating/cooling, and BMS.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Thorough knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to mechanical installations.
  • Strong organisational and operational planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in commercial management and reporting.
  • Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.
