The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with autism and be confident in creating and leading intervention sessions for SEN groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working 1:1 with an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2
- Developing and implementing individualized support plans
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring pupils' progress and reporting to teachers
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a SEN setting
- Good understanding of autism and its effects on learning
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks required
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
