Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to assist with various household tasks in our home. As a Personal Assistant for a Lady, you will play a crucial role in helping us maintain our independence, ensuring our comfort, and providing companionship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Assist with laundry tasks as needed
  • Perform general cleaning tasks
  • Accompany us on occasional outings to the park with our grandson for outdoor activities
  • Make up beds in the morning
  • Provide companionship to improve our general wellbeing
Person Specification:
  • A friendly demeanour and a love for children are essential for this role
  • Comfortable around dogs (we have three adorable Chihuahuas)
  • Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover
  • Calm, reassuring, caring, and patient individual
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality and respect for our privacy
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
Terms and Conditions:
  • Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week, to be discussed further at interview
  • Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks
  • Free Care Skills training provided
  • Subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and satisfactory references
