Job Title: Personal Assistant for Family Support

We are seeking a reliable and patient personal assistant to provide domestic support and help with getting children to school for a partially sighted lady in North Walsham.

Job Purpose:

To provide domestic support and help with getting children to school, including early morning starts in term time and flexible hours in school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide domestic support and help with getting children to school
  2. Assist with daily tasks and errands
  3. Drive children to school and drop them off
  4. Be patient and calm when interacting with children and the partially sighted lady
  5. Be flexible and reliable in terms of scheduling and availability
Requirements:
  1. Driver with own car and appropriate class of insurance
  2. Flexible and reliable
  3. Patient and calm
Terms and Conditions:
  1. Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour
  2. Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 10 hrs per week, early mornings in term time but flexible in school holidays
  3. 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays
  4. Free Careskills training: Health and Safety, GDPR (confidentiality)
Post Requirements:
  1. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  2. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
