Main Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and monitoring of professional and care standards in the Neonatal Unit.
  • Be a visible and accessible presence in the clinical area, ensuring the provision of compassionate, safe, and high-quality patient care.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, and act as a role model for staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust's Quality Improvement Plan/Strategy.
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team, utilizing resources effectively and efficiently, and escalating concerns about patient safety, quality, and experience in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the effective and sustainable relationship between Maternity and Neonates.
Person Specification

Essential

  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Qualified in Speciality (QIS).
