Maintenance Engineer - Coleraine

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG food manufacturer in Coleraine. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal production efficiency
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, fault finding, and problem-solving
  • Work with diagrams and engineering drawings to accurately diagnose and repair equipment
  • Record maintenance tasks and follow PM schedules
  • Support machine improvements and projects
  • Provide shift cover when required to cover holidays/absence

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Engineering, Mechatronic, or Electrical apprenticeship
  • Multi-skilled across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Maintenance experience gained within FMCG production/manufacturing settings
  • Good knowledge of PLCs, automated machinery, and preferably food production
  • Flexible to provide shift cover
