We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mammographer to join our team at GenesisCare's state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Milton Keynes. As a Mammographer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our breast clinics to detect breast tissue abnormalities.

About the Role:
  • This role requires a strong understanding of UK diagnostic radiography and experience in completing mammographic imaging studies.
  • The ideal candidate will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, private medical insurance, and a contributory pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mammography studies by positioning breasts
  • Maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures
  • Ensure operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance
  • Keep mammography supplies and patient drapes ready by inventorying stock
Requirements:
  • DCR (T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiography (or equivalent)
  • HCPC registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
