About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Tax Advisor to join our dedicated tax team at a reputable firm in Brighton. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide tax advice across a wide variety of sectors and taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise and correspond with HMRC regarding clearance applications, enquiries, etc.
  • Draft reports and letters of advice for various tax advisory issues
  • Prepare calculations to support advice
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings with other team members
  • Train and review the work of more junior members of staff
  • Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
Requirements
  • CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified with a keen interest in studying towards CTA
  • Experience with corporate taxes is essential; experience in other areas of tax is beneficial
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent teamwork and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge
