Corporate Tax Specialist

TPF Recruitment are recruiting for a skilled Accountancy Practice Tax Manager to work on behalf of our esteemed client based in Sussex. This highly reputable and growing firm boasts a fantastic reputation and an exciting client base comprising actors, artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers. As a Tax Manager, you will have exposure to fascinating work, servicing this prestigious client base.
Responsibilities- Liaising and corresponding with HMRC regarding clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax matters.
- Drafting reports and letters of advice for various tax advisory issues.
- Preparing calculations to support tax advice.
- Liaising with clients and attending meetings with other team members.
- Training and reviewing the work of junior members of staff.
- Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Advising on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, staff incentive schemes, and other tax-related matters.
- Providing guidance on remuneration planning, succession planning, and other tax advisory services.
- Preparing research and development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns, and other tax-related documents.
- Advising on IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience with corporate taxes and a strong interest in tax advisory. As a minimum, you should be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good IT skills, and strong analytical skills are essential. A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge is also required.
