Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and commissioning of domiciliary care contracts
  • Management of contract specifications, tendering, letting, and management
  • Effective communication and negotiation with stakeholders to secure value for money
  • Ability to manage and organize workload, collect and collate evidence, and present findings as the subject expert
  • Sound knowledge of adult care legislation and CQC requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in contracts or commissioning, with a focus on specifications, tendering, letting, and management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to motivate others and engage with stakeholders
  • Valid driving license and own transport, or alternative suitable method of travel
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check

Working Arrangements

The role will involve working from home and office-based, with regular visits to domiciliary care service locations across North Somerset.
