About the Role

The Customer Service Representative role at HSBC is a fantastic opportunity to deliver an outstanding customer experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional face-to-face customer service in a fast-paced branch environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective customer service, adhering to our policies and procedures.
  • Process a wide range of transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a supportive role in educating customers about HSBC self-service devices and digital banking platforms.
  • Collaborate with the dynamic branch team to improve workflows and processes, making banking with HSBC easier for our customers.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective conversations, building strong connections, and showing empathy to our customers.
  • Take ownership of customer enquiries through to resolution, delivering a customer experience that exceeds expectations.
  • Be resilient in a continuously changing environment.

Training and Development

You will receive full training in branch to get up to speed with the specifics of your job role, systems, products, and services. Our Customer Service Representative training course is 8 days in total, split over 2 weeks.
