The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the site, assets, and maximizing asset life and availability. Key duties and responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out scheduled Preventative Maintenance routines to reduce potential for unplanned breakdowns of equipment.
  • Perform Corrective Maintenance on equipment if it fails, minimizing the impact on production where possible.
  • Have a proactive approach to all works, planning and preparing for all preventative or corrective tasks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of unplanned outages / fault diagnosis on equipment and identify and implement actions to prevent a recurrence.
  • Support development and updating of maintenance procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure the relevant management systems are kept up to date, through accurate and timely input of data.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to customers and line management on the status of all ongoing tasks.
  • Support implementation and commissioning of plant improvement projects so that improvements are implemented and handed over in a safe manner.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance/ Project Engineer with the following skills:

  • Degree qualified.
  • NVQ Level 3 – Electrical.
  • 18th Edition Regulations.
  • Programming of PLCs (Siemens S7 series, Mitsubishi A, Q, Fx series).
  • Design of industrial machinery control systems.
  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial machinery controls.
