Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Care to lead our Rheumatology & Neurology service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused services that meet the needs of our patients and staff.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality services that meet the requirements of key stakeholders and the Trust's strategic direction.
- Provide a working environment that fosters high morale and commitment among staff and promotes their wellbeing, professional and personal development.
- Support the Directorate senior management team in the planning, development, provision, and review of the Directorate services.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent, patient-focused services in line with the Trust's Strategic Direction and Service Plans.
- Provide professional operational leadership for the service within the Directorate to promote the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services.
- Set and review standards of service continuously, in line with local modernization targets, the NHS Plan, local contractual requirements, activity, and financial targets.
- Postgraduate training in Business or NHS Management in progress/completed or willingness to undertake.
- Familiarity with clinical management issues is advantageous.
- Operational management experience, preferably with some exposure to the NHS.
- Well-developed leadership and influencing skills with the ability to enthuse, motivate, and involve individuals and teams.
