Job Title: Technician

Layered Reality is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Aldgate, London. As a key member of our Technical department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our immersive experiences.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate and maintain our lighting, sound, video projection, pyrotechnics, and automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical challenges, ensuring the venue's safety, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain lighting, sound, video projection, pyrotechnics, and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ensure the venue's safety for our team and guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a technical position
  • Positive attitude and dedication to maintaining high production values
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Virtual Reality
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in working as part of a team and independently
