Job Summary

The Layered Reality team is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our Technical department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our immersive experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain lighting, sound, video projection, pyrotechnics, and automation systems
  • Ensure the venue's safety for our team and guests
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges that arise during live show operations
  • Collaborate with the cast and crew to facilitate communication and information flow
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new technical systems and processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a technical position
  • Positive attitude and dedication to maintaining high production values
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Virtual Reality
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in working as part of a team and independently
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
