About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our bank team at Ballington House, a 13-bedded mental health rehabilitation hospital. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting women with complex mental health needs, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support women with complex mental health needs, providing individualized care and rehabilitation
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
