Automation Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Wave Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role in designing and delivering unique automation projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for project ownership from concept to customer sign-off, developing PLC and HMI programs using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, or Bosch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets to deliver high-quality results
- Design and develop automation solutions that meet customer specifications and delivery requirements
- Collaborate effectively with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and processes to enhance performance and efficiency
About You
- Possess strong technical knowledge of PLC and HMI programming platforms
- Have experience working autonomously and managing projects
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel, including overseas
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
