About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of care needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide expert mental health advice and guidance to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and services to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a degree in Nursing (Mental Health) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in adult mental health care, with a strong focus on community-based services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and manage complex mental health needs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
