About the Role:

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of employees and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Safety Protocols: You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring environment/health & safety protocols, managing H&S issues and improvement plans, deploying H&S standards, and managing environmental issues of industrial and logistics sites.
  • Promote Preventive Measures: You will promote and assist management in the development and application of prevention programs, monitor regulatory changes within the plant/site, and guarantee compliance with regulations in the field of health, safety, environment, energy, and facility management.
  • Natural Correspondent: You will serve as the natural correspondent with employee councils, local and national healthcare authorities, environment agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage Procurement and Cost Optimization: You will manage the procurement, cost follow-up, and productivity actions for PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and analyze and optimize FM (Facility Management) costs, proposing targets and action plans.
  • Communicate Effectively: You will ensure KPI and communication accuracy to the plant manager and outside the plant, defining technical specifications and following up on contracts with suppliers.
