Senior Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our medium-sized RIBA Chartered practice based in Stockport. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Senior Architect with knowledge in the education sector, preferably having worked on projects within this sector before. However, anyone with a passion to work on these types of projects is also of interest.

The Role and Requirements:
  • Produce information for and sometimes run site meetings at different stages
  • Previous experience using Revit or working in the Education sector - including Priority School design process and DfE Output Specification
  • Strong design and detailing skills for a variety of projects - small extensions/refurbishments to SEND-specific works to large scale new build developments
  • Run your own projects and small team
  • Help mentor junior staff
  • Experience working on all RIBA Stages
  • Confident communicating with all stakeholders, including contractors and clients
  • Live within a commutable distance of Stockport
