Senior Scientist Opportunity

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team at a market-leading medical devices organization. This role involves working on various projects to expand the portfolio of proteomic and phosphoproteomic assays and develop them into new clinical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies for normalization and quality control to ensure test accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the product development team and quality manager to establish appropriate systems, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Author and contribute to regulatory submissions, technical protocols, and reports.
  • Maintain and calibrate LC-MS/MS systems, prepare buffers, and ensure quality control samples are run.
  • Document maintenance, calibrations, and QC work for reporting purposes.
  • Support lab-based team duties during colleagues' absences and additional pressure periods.
Requirements:
  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant or STEM-based subject.
  • Hands-on experience with high-end LC-MS/MS systems, including calibration, maintenance, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in interrogating LC-MS/MS raw data using vendor software.
  • High degree of personal motivation and willingness to learn new skills and undertake relevant training.
