Fleet & Yard Operator Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fleet & Yard Operator to join our team at MGF LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our yard and fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment for use, including assembly, sorting, and testing
  • Assist with loading and unloading of company vehicles
  • Identify and record damages to equipment
  • Rack and stack equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate Fork Lift Trucks (training provided)
  • Test hydraulic equipment (training provided)
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a busy yard environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience with Fork Lift Trucks (desirable)
