Job Description
As an Extractives Sector Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading the team at Tarmac Stowfield Quarry and Asphalt Plant. The role involves overseeing all quarrying and asphalt plant operations, ensuring safety and operational standards are met, and managing a highly skilled team to achieve business continuity and reduce risk.

About the Position
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar quarrying operations role and possess a Diploma in Quarry Technology or FdSc Extractives Technology. You will also require knowledge of techniques employed to load extracted minerals, viable options to transport extracted minerals, and applications within the industry. In addition, you will need a SHE NVQ Level 4/QCF Level 6 and strong IT skills, including competence with SAP and Microsoft packages.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing, coaching, and developing a highly skilled team to ensure business continuity and reduce risk
- Understanding different methods of winning and extracting raw material
- All aspects of budgetary control for all quarrying operations and producing operational reports
- Maintaining and implementing existing and new Standard Operating Procedures, risk assessments, and training staff on the same
- Ensuring that the plant meets operational and production requirements while maintaining equipment to a high standard

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum
