Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in Stockport, providing care and support for children/young people (ages 8-17) with complex needs, challenging behaviours, or learning disabilities.

Salary: £13 per hour + Sleep-in Allowance £50 per shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift work in a residential care home supporting long-term care and transitions to semi-independent living
  • Leading and supervising staff teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, policies, and regulations
  • Contributing to care planning, risk assessments, reviews, and participating in staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in 'Children and Young People's Workforce' or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience working in a residential setting with children/young people (essential)
  • Experience in a senior role, leading and supervising staff
  • Full driving license (preferred)
  • Knowledge of County Lines, CSE and Complex Trauma
  • Team Teach training preferred but not essential as training will be given
