Job Title: 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer

FryerMiles Recruitment is seeking a skilled 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join our client's technology team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support to customers, resolving complex IT issues, and managing internal and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Log and investigate customer tickets
  • Provide technical support for servers, networks, and desktops
  • Resolve complex IT issues
  • Manage and work to internal and customer SLAs
  • Manage client expectations
  • Work closely with customers to maintain and support infrastructure
  • Action hardware and software installations

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as an IT engineer supporting customers
  • Familiarity with working to SLAs
  • Experience working as part of a wider service delivery team
  • Knowledge of MS Windows Server Technologies, Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, Hypervisors, and VMWare
