Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supervising Solicitor to lead a team of legal professionals in our Actions against the Police & Public Authorities department.
About the Role:
- Oversee a team of lawyers and manage complex cases involving police misconduct and civil liberties violations.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients seeking justice and advice on legal rights and options.
- Develop and implement effective case strategies for negotiation, mediation, and litigation.
- Maintain compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of solicitors in supervising and managing complex cases.
- Conduct thorough research, analysis, and case preparation.
- Develop and implement effective case strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with substantial experience in actions against the police and related legal matters.
- Extensive experience of supervising and leading a team with a background in successful CFA work.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role showcasing leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
