About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead the development of Saint Andrew's Birmingham Secure Services and become an integral part of the REACH OUT partnership. As a Senior Forensic Psychiatrist, you will lead a full multi-disciplinary team and help shape services further through strategic decision-making, improvement projects, and joint working with our NHS partners.

You will also be able to undertake research projects as part of St Andrew's commitment to innovation and world-class care. The Birmingham Site offers an excellent opportunity to deliver value-based healthcare focusing on clinical outcomes, using up-to-date data on outcomes based on the recommendations of International Consortium of Health Outcome Measures to continually adapt care to best meet every patient's needs.

The post holder will be required to undertake on-call duties on a rota basis. The post attracts a competitive salary with travel allowance, sickness policy on par with NHS, 41 days annual leave, car lease scheme, free parking, cycle to work scheme, relocation allowance subject to status, ongoing CPD, and much more.

Requirements

  • MRCPsych or equivalent
  • CCT in Forensic or General Adult Psychiatry
