Job Title:

Maintenance Technician

Imperial Professionals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading North Yorkshire manufacturing organisation. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining close attendance of the production line, providing engineering solutions, and assisting in an operational capacity when required.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and maintain all machines and ancillary plant during production, ensuring effective communication with the Engineering team and Plant Manager.
  2. Assist in cold starting, size or product changes, cleaning in place, and running machines as needed.
  3. Follow preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules, liaising with the Engineering Manager regarding spare parts requirements.
  4. Carry out repair and maintenance work, ensuring the area or workshop is left in a clean and safe condition.
  5. Provide detailed handovers to the next shift, ensuring all relevant information is passed on and understood.
  6. Contribute ideas to improve plant and equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Apprentice served.
  3. Electrical bias with supporting qualifications.
  4. Experience of working within high-volume manufacturing equipment.

Salary: £46,126 increasing to £56,592 after 6 months
Hours: 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)
