Key responsibilities include:
- Procurement of electronic and mechanical components
- Collaboration with the Planning team to expedite and align material expectations
- Communication of supply risks to internal stakeholders
- Procurement of subcontract services, consumables, capital equipment, and ad-hoc purchases
- Management of availability and issuance of free-issue stock to subcontractors
- Leadership of supply chain improvement projects for new projects and changes in current Bills of Material
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance techniques, as well as international trade, Incoterms, and customs compliance.
