An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operational Director to join our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization based near Gatwick. This role will see you take the lead as their Night Shift Production Manager, overseeing the production process and coordinating all activities to ensure there are enough resources on hand.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.
  2. Managing a team of 10 staff per shift.
  3. Planning and organization of production schedules.
  4. Determining quality control standards.
  5. Overseeing the production processes.
  6. Monitor production to resolve issues.
  7. Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
  8. Ensure output meets quality standards & health and safety precautions.
  9. Ensuring the team is engaged, organised and motivated.
Requirements & Skills:
  1. Previous experience as a Production Manager.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the meat / butchery industry.
  3. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  4. Good understanding of UK Food legislation.
  5. Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
  6. Proficient in MS Office or other software.
  7. Excellent communication skills & good leadership abilities.
  8. Ability to motivate a team.
  9. Attention to detail as well as strong decision making abilities.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience, benefits including company pension scheme and opportunities for career progression within the business.
