Software Development Engineer

Excellent salaries and hybrid working opportunities are available for a talented Master's Graduate Software Engineer to join our client's team in Cambridge.

Our client is a global leader in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and is seeking a skilled C++ software engineer to work on their internal infrastructure, providing vital data to the Machine Learning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new features, debugging, and increasing the performance, stability, capacity, and capability of the software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality C++ software applications
  • Collaborate with a global cross-functional team to provide product engineering, verification, documentation, and programme management input
  • Work closely with the Machine Learning team to provide vital data and support
  • Implement new features and improve existing software
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues

Requirements:

  • MSc in Computer Science or a related field
  • Grade A*/A/B in A-level Mathematics
  • Experience in algorithmic software development in C++
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
