About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Suppression Design Engineer to join our team at Jensen Hughes. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fire suppression systems for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fire suppression systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning of fire suppression systems.
  • Communicate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Lead technical projects and prepare technical reports and presentations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • LPCB qualifications or BAFSA training preferred.
  • Experience in code consulting and design of fire suppression systems in a project design environment.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software, including hydraulic calculation software, AutoCAD, Revit, and SprinkCAD.
  • Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
