We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our IT team as we embark on our journey of continued growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our Head of Software Development in the end-to-end development of web applications, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple developments in the stack, including the design and development of new features and functionality within in-house systems. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise CHEC's web applications, including our EPR (electronic patient record)
  • Developing features to enhance the user experience
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal performance across various devices
  • Set up applications to production and monitor ongoing performance
  • Collaborate in maintaining, expanding, and scaling existing software systems
  • Write effective, scalable code and conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs

  • Desirable:
    • Relevant degree or qualification in Computer Science or related field
