About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £25,293 - £28,413 per annum, depending on experience. The role involves working alongside an experienced service manager developing your skills, managing the team and service, planning rotas, ensuring compliance, and supporting individuals to make their own choices.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service
  • Planning rotas and management of staff teams
  • Ensuring compliance within the service
  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users
  • FOLLOWING CARE PLANS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL
  • TAKING SERVICE USERS OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY
  • PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS ARTS, CRAFTS, GARDENING, AND DAY TRIPS
  • VARYING LEVELS OF PERSONAL CARE
Requirements:
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
  • Senior Support Worker Experience
  • Must be resilient
  • Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care
