Electrical Contracts Supervisor Job Description

Irwin M&E Limited is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Contracts Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Electrical Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and success in procuring long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of electricians, electrical assistants, and apprentices to ensure high-quality electrical installation work.
  • Control the quality of electrical installation work and provide support with planning and programming of work to the Contracts Manager.
  • Assist with estimates and measures for new and current MTC contracts and audit ongoing works for quality and H&S compliance.
  • Liaise with clients and attend client meetings to ensure all relevant working practices comply with the statutory Health & Safety (NI) Order.
  • Carry out work according to Irwin M&E policies and procedures and ensure all relevant working practices comply with the statutory Health & Safety (NI) Order.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Time served as an Electrician with C&G Level 3 NVQ in Electro Technical Services or equivalent.
  • Ability to lone work and be self-motivated with competent leadership skills.
  • Good H&S knowledge and experience of EICR (EICR) Testing.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of leading a team and ability to use IT including Word, Excel & Office.
  • Security clearances desirable e.g. CTC/Access NI and driving licence.
