Industrial Plant Construction Project Specialist

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support the construction of a new processing facility in the Far North of New Zealand. This exciting opportunity will see you working with a client who has successfully demonstrated their processing technology and are now ready to push forward with the first stage of construction.
As a Project Engineer, you will provide support with design, construction, and commissioning activities. You will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and commencing in early 2025. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of experience in project engineering, preferably from the Oil & Gas, Mining, or Chemical Manufacturing industries.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around NZD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description- Support and understudy the Project Manager
- Take leadership of site organisation and site supervision of project working, including supporting contractors and progress reporting.
- Interpret relevant drawings, specifications, process, construction, and consenting information in support of project design, construction, and commissioning.
