Key Responsibilities
  1. Accountable for delivering low-complexity projects or parts of complex projects in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, meeting time, cost, and quality targets in accordance with PACE, Network Rail standards, and current legislation.
  2. Support the Project Manager and Sponsor in preparing and maintaining project requirements definitions.
  3. Manage multi-disciplinary teams to identify solutions to client requirements and establish a robust baseline plan.
  4. Identify and monitor project risks, plan and implement mitigations, and respond to issues affecting the project.
  5. Implement and update resource allocation plans for project delivery, including identification and management of critical resource requirements.
  6. Manage stakeholders, considering their influence and interests.
  7. Conduct project reviews at key points, informing governance decisions with evaluations of progress, performance, risk, contingency, and continuing relevance.
  8. Establish and implement protocols for changing project scope and updating configuration documents as needed.
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience in the Rail Industry Sector, including GRIP and CDM on simple projects.
  2. Knowledge of Network Rail's Project, Investment, Commercial, and Procurement practices.
  3. Experience in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  4. Flexible and proactive approach.
  5. Knowledge of Network Rail's assets and their management.
